About us

FREE WEB ILLUSTRATIONS is a search engine that indexes over 1,500 high-quality web illustrations that are free to use in both commercial and non-commercial projects. Our goal is to make it easy for to search and access high-quality illustrations in a uniform way, across different platforms. Every illustration comes with information on the available file formats as well as a direct link to the applicable license. We compile illustrations from different sources, add keywords and additional meta data to improve the search experience, and link back to the individual platforms.

If you are a designer and want to propose a set of illustrations for inclusion in our database, you can apply by using the contact form or the feedback button in the bottom-right corner. Please keep in mind that our goal is to maintain a clean collection of free high-quality illustrations for use in modern websites. This means that, unfortunately, we will not be able to accept all submissions.
